We do not recommend lamination for skin that is or has any of the following:

1. Clients with no or little brow hair as the solution will end up being placed directlye on the skin and this can cause redness and irritation.

2. Clients with skin disorders and sensitive skin as this can cause reactions and irritations.

3. Pregnant and breastfeeding clients can have brow lamination. The only risk is that due to hormonal changes occurring, the hairs may not lift or may not last as long as usual. If a reaction occurs, some of the medications prescribed cannot be given to pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Feathers are a damage-proof way to add flair to your hair. The feathers are grizzly and whitling rooster feathers. These natural fibers allow them to last a long time and can be treated, washed and styled as your own hair.

Sparkles are holographic tinsel which is attached to the hair, along side the feathers or alone. They can last several weeks, depending on the care of the hair, and can be washed, dried and heat-styled.

Both can be installed minimally to show a hint of color or applied for maximum pizzazz - or as our clients like to say "A bajillion feathers".

Threading is a great alternative for skin that is sensitive or allergic to waxing. For shaping "trouble" brows, it is completely safe and dermatologist-recommended for individuals who are currently using medications such as Accutane and Retin-A.

Men, women and teens can also benefit from threading options which extend to cleaning upper lip, facial and jawline hair.

Threading has little to no contact with the skin unlike waxing which tugs at the skin during hair removal, irritates and can discolor sensitive skin. With waxing, the affected skin turns red because of wax tugging and removing the skin, not the actual removal of the hair. If you do get pink from threading, it usually goes away within the hour.

Healing occurs in approximately 10 days. During this time, allow your brows to naturally exfoliate off. To do so, avoid exposing them to water, sweat, steam, etc. An average of 4 weeks is needed for scabbing to pass, lightening of brows and the true color of your microbladed brows to appear. By carefully following after-care instructions, work or being in public should not be an issue.

Brow lamination lasts up to 6-8 weeks, depending on hair type and after-care.

On average, depending on skin type and lifestyle, microbladed brows last 1-2 years before a touch-up is needed. While considered permanent, cosmetic tattoos will lighten over time and may require a refresh every 12-16 months. Microbladed brows do not wash off, however those who do not properly follow after-care instructions may need more frequent touch-ups.

To ensure you are more than satisfied with your healed brow, a majority of the 2.5-3 hour long appointment is finding the right color and going over drawing the shape of your perfect brow.

Yes. If the old tattoo is significantly faded then the hair strokes will be able to show through and appear natural. Please submit a picture of your existing tattoo so we can determine if you are a good candidate for microblading.

Henna tint is not recommended straight after brow lamination. Henna can react with the "lifting" solution and can cause redness and irritation. Regular tint is fine. Some beauticians use henna directly after brow lamination with any issue as it is quite common to team up lamination with a henna treatment. However, there can be the situation where the henna reacts with the "lifting" solution so it bears mentioning that this can occur. It is recommended waiting at least 48 hours before apply henna to brows.

Gorgeous! The first couple of days, they will appear a little darker but no bruising and minimal swelling. No alcohol the day of your procedure (before and after) to avoid sweat, unlikely bleeding, bruising and unsanitary touching of your eyebrows.

If you have any skin disorder, skin sensitivity or have ever had reactions to lash-lift products, eyebrow tint or henna, we will not perform the treatment on you.

Arriving late will simply limit the time for your service(s). Services will be adapted to fit within remaining time so the next client will not be delayed. The full value of your service(s) booked will be applied.

For at least two weeks, do not wear makeup on your brows. Makeup in other areas is fine.

Yes. Initially two appointments are needed at least 4-6 weeks apart for microblading. A touch-up treatment is absolutely imperative no earlier than 4 weeks and no later than eight. The results will not be optimal without it. You will be required to pay a touch-up fee outlined in the touch-up schedule, if you do not schedule it within 8 weeks. During the follow-up, we assess color retention and any necessary adjustments as each person heals differently and at different rates. Do not worry if your cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly the first time! Going bolder, adding more density, correcting any irregularities within hair strokes are all possible during the touch-up appointment. The included microblading follow-up second session must occur within 8 weeks of your first initial session or it becomes a full price microblading first session. If you haven't shown for it or keep rescheduling it out, check your calendar - you may have time to enjoy the complimentary artistry and avoid the additional full price.

Gently massaging an exfoliator brush and cleanser in circular motions over the brow and the surrounding areas to remove dead skin cells, typically during facial cleaning routine.

Gentle exfoliation can be achieved with mechanical exfoliator brushes such as the Clarisonic Mia Prima. If the recommended mechanical brush is not an option for you at this moment, using a clean toothbrush, sugar scrub or the Neutrogena microdermabrasion system are great alternatives!

Harsh chemical exfoliants.

If you exfoliate too roughly or vigorously, you risk skin irritation and removal of hair. These reasons are why Ao emphasizes gently taking care of your skin and brows.

Henna brow tinting uses an all-natural, plant-based, peroxide-free product (Henna) that stains the skin and brow hair giving a fuller and deeper effect lasting up to four weeks on brow hair and up to seven days on skin. Henna brow tinting is a great way to save time with daily makeup routines since brows will be all set! It’s also wonderful for clients who are thinking about microblading to test drive how their brows are likely to look with microblading.

Henna brow tint works well on:

• Grey/white hair

• Hair that doesn’t take to traditional tint easily

• Patchy brows

• Do take note that the more the brow hair, the longer the results than for someone with extremely sparse brows.

Henna brow tint lasts up to four weeks on the hair and up to seven days on the skin, which is a longer lasting result than traditional tinting. While traditional tinting only tints the brow hair, henna brow tinting stains the skin and hair. The henna tint will last longer on the brow hair while it will shed as the skin naturally sheds. Henna brow tinting will fade faster on very oily skin than on normal to dry skin.
